I do acouple of week long trips in the Grand Canyon easch year, and some of the routes I take have unreliable water sources. The MSR Dromlite 6 liter bag allows me to carry the extra water I need during a leg in the trip where water sources are scarce, and is easy to fit in my pack when not needed, unlike the extra water bottles I have carried in the past.
