I used this pan for the first time this past weekend. I was backpacking with a group of Boy Scouts up in the Blood Mountain Wilderness, and had a visit by Ursus americanus around 11 pm. I can't talk much about how well you can cook with this pan, but it it has just the right tone to keep bears away from your camp. I banged on the bottom of this pan for 2 hours with my knife while the bear circled
