Excellent Bear Repellent
I used this pan for the first time this past weekend. I was backpacking with a group of Boy Scouts up in the Blood Mountain Wilderness, and had a visit by Ursus americanus around 11 pm. I can't talk much about how well you can cook with this pan, but it it has just the right tone to keep bears away from your camp. I banged on the bottom of this pan for 2 hours with my knife while the bear circled

This is the hot ticket
Really nice fry pan for two or more campers. Great for stir fry and a big breakfast bash. I use a smaller one for solo camping. But if you have several people or are car camping this pan is it!

I like it
I consider myself a comfort driven minimalist. I use this pan by itself when on solo hikes or as an addition to when with someone else, and I really like it as an all around, for pretty much everything go-to when alone, using a small piece of foil folded in my pack for a lid when needed.
