A fuel bottle has a pretty simple task: Keep the smelly fuel contained and away from all other items in the backpack. Larry Pemberthy, the founder of Mountain Safety Research (MSR) was an engineer and I trust his ice axes and so it is not much of a jump to also trust a fuel bottle bearing the MSR label.

Good quality！ Made in PRC! Very nice printing on the bottle.I like use it when camping outside with my MSR liquid stove. Nice buy!

Does its job

Sooooooo.... It does a perfect job holding fuel and and attaching to my stove. holds pressure nicely slips, ever so easily into my backpack, Last one lasted 20 some years so just hoping this one does the same

Great for storing your camping fuel safely

Will recommend due to the cheap price and portability

Safer than and more lightweight than using just plain bottles

Would recommend to everyone. Im using it with my MSR XGK stove

Stove & bottle are great! Easy to use with whisperlite International stove. Easy to adjust flame & heat. Multi fuels can be used with these items.MSR has great products. Have never been disappointed in anything.

  • Fuel for backpacking camping

Normal high standard product from MSR

This is my first fuel bottle with a child resistant cap. It's easy to work even with gloves on (was just camping yesterday in 24F temps) and the standard high quality you would expect from MSR. as an FYI...in the past 30+ years of camping I have used other aluminum fuel bottles with all of my white gas stoves (including several MSR stoves) without issue.
