A qroup more than 3 people will consumes more than 10L a day. It will takes too much time if using katadyn befree system.
it takes only less than 5 minutes to get enough clean water with Guardian. recommanded.

Clean living

This is the last water filter you will ever buy. The flow rate is excellent and makes the trip to the watering hole a lot less painful. It’s expensive but usually things that work well are worth it! Especially when it comes to having a Clean reliable water source.

Best All Around

Love this thing. It's more like the state of mind that you can rely on exceptional gear without hesitation.i just wish I had this with me in my last trip to Peru. My girlfriend calls me crazy for spending so much money on gadgets. But people sometime don't think about the luxury items of what we have here in the states and having good clean water is probably one of the most overlooked nesiscities when traveling or backpacking.

Safe Water in 3rd World

Filters that are less expensive will do in pristine environments, but in a highly polluted environment of a third world country you need the Guardian. Yes it is expensive. Yes it is 17 ounces! The Guardian delivers peace of mind and clean water! The health of you and your group demand nothing less! Get the Guardian!

Bought this filter to use on a two month trip from Arizona to New Mexico. Seems like a solid filter, and it promises a lot. Came with a case. Will offer more thoughts once I have finished the trip.

Seems legit

Well it looks like it's going to work. Haven't used it in the field yet but it certainly produces faster than my hiker pro and I like the direction the pump ark moves much better as well. Less fatigue for sure and it's a one man operation with comfort. Hiker pro was better with two people just to hold the hose when filling multiple bottles. Not a ton heavier either and almost as compact. Almost.
