Most Helpful Positive Review Finally, the perfect solution from MSR
MSR delivers the convenience of a hydration bladder and the large opening of their original Dromlites! I have a Dromlite with the hydration accessory, and it's no match for this, which places the hose at the proper end of the bag. Works perfectly!

Great hydration bag. very lightweight, folds very compact and is very well built. This is by far the toughest bag.

Good deal - works great - like the eyelets

by greenbubba, from NC, United States Written on October 4, 2015
Up until know I've been a water bottle (Nalgene) guy. Being primarily an east coast backpacker I've never needed much more. Bought this for a hike into grand canyon and used the eyelets to hang it vertically in my pack, vs springing for a camelback style rig. Still not a fan of sipping thru a plastic tube, but must admit if you need to carry bunches of water this is a comfy way to do it. Seems like it will be good for hanging up at the campsite, whether that is car camping or wilderness. Love the big mouth.

Not Good

by Patrick B., Written on August 27, 2015
The bag is very bulky and moves alot...not a stable bag. The bite system doesn't provide water well. The tube mount to the bag appears very fragile....it won't lat long....AND THE WORSE PART.....The Water Tastes Terrible!!! I am going to return this thing. It's not good.

best hydration pack ever!

Feels solid, not delicate. Filling is easy. Screw on cap is very easy to use. It is by far the best hydration pack I have ever used in about 20 years. I highly recommend it!

Sturdy and light

by Hans V., from CT, United States Written on April 20, 2015
I just got done using this bladder on a 3 day hike. I like that it is sturdy, screws directly onto my MSR Waterworks and it is lighter than using bottles. My only criticism is that the hose can be a little easy to kink or pinch. But if I take my time to route it smoothly it is not a problem.

durable and simple

by Solo photo-back, Written on May 5, 2014
This bag is very well made and has exactly what you need and eliminates anything you don't. I bought this to replace a Camelbak that had too many unnecessary straps, buckles and extra junk. I only listed "heavy" as a con because carrying 2 liters of water adds a lot of weight but the bag itself is nice and light. It has a nice handle under next to the cap to lift it with. The clip next to the

Perfect Fit

by Salinaspete, from CA, United States Written on August 5, 2011
Used this in my 90 liter pack for a overnight and it worked out well. My buddies had a couple issues with the other brands ( leaking and not sealing ) that resulted in a wet down bag and clothes. Spent many hours contacting the manufacturers of different hydration systems and this works the best for my needs.

great product [...]

Used the Hydromedary on a climb of Mt. St. Helens during the winter. Fit in my small pack perfectly. Very easy to access water from and extremely lightweight. Much better quality than my Camel.
