Most Helpful Positive Review Indestructible and Irreplaceable!
I’m 6 feet, 2 inches tall, have a 39 inch waist and bought the large/extra large waist belt. Waist belt fit is absolutely perfect. OK, now that that is out-of-the-way, let’s get into the nitty-gritty: The new frame design makes this pack super easy to access the meat rack, the zippers are super heavy duty, pocket configuration is perfect for packing up everything you’re going to need for your elk hunt . The pack, when loaded up to 50 pounds, has been super quiet for me. I am very, very, very impressed with this pack thus for. Do Yourself a favor can get this pack for your backcountry need...

Mystery Ranch designed these Large Volume Packs (76+L) with 330D Lite and CORDURA fabric for durability and a Guide Light MT Frame System with SJ Autolock buckles that offers plenty of strength without adding much weight. Another feature that makes the Mystery Ranch Beartooth 80 Hunting Bag stand out from the competition is the 270-degree duffel-style zipper opening that provides access from the top, bottom or side of the bag. There's never been an easier way to get to your gear. Each pack is compatible with hydration reservoirs so that you can quench your thirst during long hunting sessions. Get your Mystery Ranch Beartooth 80 Backpack today to step into your next hunting session with the confidence of being fully prepared for anything you may encounter.

Mystery Ranch Beartooth pack

by Radpuppy, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on December 13, 2019
This is a well made pack, well designed for lightweight day pack or 3-4 day pack in, the frame is lightweight and strong, I did order the wrong size so I’ve returned the medium pack in exchange for a large, pros are well made, large main compartment, pockets for organizing, padded waist belt, weight well balanced on hips. Cons are it is more noisy than I prefer, not available in camo yet, no pockets on waist belt. Overall it is an Excellent pack and I would recommend to different,
Best Used for:
  • Packing heavy or light loads in pack

One pack to rule them all!

After extensive research I chose the MR Beartooth 80. Received an awesome deal from campsaver and couldn't resist. Planning a week hunt in the mountains for elk and will need to have all on my back. This pack has a loadout feature to expand and let you add between the frame and pack. The straps and layout are the best I have ever seen - efficient tightening loops so notjing dangles though highly spacious )can make a day pack cinched down or week plus expanded out. Also love the Mystery Ranch frame - uber light and comfortable. Laid my pack out (about 70lb with rifle) and added two 45 lb plates in between (simulated loadout). Most comfortable pack ive ever used and first since a climbing fall and several knee surgeries. Grateful for the purchase and highly recommend.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Easy access to load
  • Sturdy and built to last
  • Adaptable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • multi day backpack trips
  • Multi day backcountry hunting

This beartooth bag is amazing. I’ve had several different bags over the years but the Mystery Ranch bag is the only bag I’ve ever owned that could handle extreme heavy weight... 50 lbs feels like 25lbs in this bag
Pros:
  • SUPER COMFORT
  • Well built
  • Plenty of compression straps
  • had the hunter in mind when designing
Cons:
  • Price
Best Used for:
  • Back country hunting or long turn wildernesses staying
