Most Helpful Positive Review Great travel pack
Would I thru hike with this pack? No, but that’s not its intention. I love that it collapses into itself and is great for flying. Lets me bring a comfortable day pack with me anywhere I fly, without having to use it as my carry on. Super spacious, comfortable straps, plenty of room for a solid ten mile mountain day hike. Seems durable so far, only carried it ~100 miles so far but it’s been great.

Very nice design and construction.
The design is a reduced size version of the larger backpacks.
Folds into front mesh pocket, weighs one pound.
Would be a good day pack or include with larger pack for combination of pack options along the trail.
Humus color is fine and fabric used is durable.
Zippers, closures and attachment points, typical Mystery Ranch excellence in execution of design.
Highly recommend for a versatile day pack.

In addition to being equipped with a comfortable carrying system, the design is also aesthetically pleasing. It is not only suitable for mountaineering activities, but can also be used in daily life. The In and out 22L backpack has a backpack cover design on the top; the in & out bag is very convenient to store. Just fold the bag into the front mesh bag and it can become a small square bag that is easy to carry and does not take up space.

One of the best bags I've ever used

I travel a lot using carry on only for anywhere from 3 day to month-long trips. I use a large backpack as my overhead luggage and carry my podcasting gear as my personal item. This bag is perfect to bring along clipped to the outside of my big backpack, then deploy when I get where I'm going to use for every day carry. When home, this has now replaced an old osprey bag as my go to everyday carry as well when I'm out in town. I owned the previous, smaller version of this as well and this is a huge upgrade. I've never used a drawstring bag before and I actually find I like it a little better than the zipper, the size is better, and the side waterbottle pocket is still tight but actually usable for my Nalgene. This bag is built like a freaking tank unlike most compressible bags and I look forward to using it for basically the rest of my life

This is my third Mystery Ranch in and out 22. Since the 19L version, it’s been the best one day backpack. I upgraded to the 22L version and also new color way. I even bought it to my family. Highly recommended!
