A great backpack
requested this bag for my mom. She absolutely loves it, as she's never had a bag this nice. I own tons of Osprey bags myself, so I can make some qualified comparisons.
First off, the build quality is fantastic. The materials used is really high quality, certainly up there with Osprey's high-end offerings. The stitching is impeccably done - this bag is going to last for many years of rough use. There are no loose threads anywhere to be found. The super heavy duty YKK zippers are water sealing, and just feel incredibly robust.
The shoulder pads have ample padding, and just as importantly, so does the hip belt. <---That right there is a key attribute to have for comfort, as there is nothing more annoying than packs with thin, anemic hip belts. The hip belt is also removable, which is a very nice feature if ever that becomes a need. The sternum strap adds to the firm, secure fit. All three of those points are fully adjustable.
