Our son loves these bottles, though he uses the larger size, so I chose these on his recommendation. I purchased them to use with the Katadyn pocket filter that we bought from Campsaver.com at the same time. They are going right in the back packs. I do note that the seal is nice, no leaking when fastened properly. Also, very durable and I believe would be hard to crack if dropped. And very important, no BPA! I purchased the clear so I could "clearly" see the contents.
