We used this truck tent on a 16-day road trip to Utah, sleeping in the tent for most of those nights. The tent paid for itself in savings, compared to hotel costs. Ventilation is good with its large side windows and large door screen. (A 10" fan helped on the hot early nights in Moab.) We left the bedding in place, collapsed the tent over it, rolled the tonneau cover over all, and were on our way. It takes about 10 minutes to put up or collapse the tent. The hardest part is threading the tailgate buckles through the slot between gate and truck bed. On the negative side--the thin, plastic tarp floor got a small hole after a few nights. And by the 4th night the shock cords on the 2 main poles had broken, leaving the 7 wands that form the main arches disconnected. We could still use them, but had to carefully thread them through their sleeves so they didn't come apart on us. Take down was also a little trickier, since the individual wands could pull apart in the sleeves. There's an engineering principle: If your project fails, check the part that you didn't think was important. In an otherwise well-designed tent, the floor and poles seemed to have gotten the least attention. By the way, we didn't go with the floor-less tents because those leave large gaps at the tailgate where insects, rain, rattle snakes, and small mountain lions can enter.

This tent fits our Ford F350 perfectly. Make sure you measure with the tailgate closed. Also, make sure you order series 19 instead of series 13. Series 19 has the storm flaps on the side windows, series 13 does not. This is important because you don't need the fly, which blocks the airflow. If it starts raining during the night, you can zip the windows rather than getting out and trying to put the fly on. I'm putting this in my review because these are things I didn't know when I ordered the first one, which was series 13 and I returned it and ordered the series 19. Hope this helps.
