Hornet Elite OSMO 2P Tent - 2 Person
Love this tent. Love the double door design. Its lightweight semi-freestanding, double-wall and easy to set up. Although it's a 2-person tent, it's a bit small when wild camping one weekend with my wife and I would recommend this for only a one-person use.
Pros:
- Light weight
- Easy Set Up
- Lifetime Warranty
Cons:
- Expensive
- Small or two people
- Is it Durable?
Best Used for:
- one person
Would recommend: Yes
Great lightweight option for hiking
LOVE this tent. Took it out on a couple of trips including the WA section J of the PCT.
This 2P tent is SUPER LIGHT and a great option for those who like a little space in their tent.
Some people have commented on having footprint issues but most of the issues stem from not having clear instructions from Nemo on how to use it... It isn't rocket science, you just need to spend a little time before heading out to learn how to use it. Do you need a footprint with this tent? Absolutely.
Materials are very thin so those who abuse gear may wish to look elsewhere.
Improvements I would suggest include
a neutral color option (this bright yellow is a bee, wasp, deer fly, horse fly, etc magnet) and
revisit the foot design to make the tent 100 percent freestanding
