Great single wall tent for on-snow expedition use
Trying to erect my favourite ski touring tunnel tent in driving rain on a ice climbing trip recently made me think about a single wall expedition tent that was:
- no heavier than my current tent (2 kg)
- can be erected in minutes - for the Tenshi (without the vestibule) just lay it out, dive INSIDE and stretch-out the two cross poles - done
- has great ventilation, the biggest problem with reducing condensation in single wall tents
- was bomber.
The Nemo Tenshi answers all those questions. With a very featured product that whilst not the lightest is fit for purpose. Very happy with this tent.

Pros:

- Personal preference but I like the colour and being able to see it in a storm
Cons:
- Having to seam-seal the tent before use
- Heavy stuff-sack. I bought a replacement

I also wish they had made the vestibule out of the same material as the tent body...the additional weight would have been worth it. Unless I plan on making camp for more than a day in one spot, I l
