This pad is 'awesome'! I opted for the insulated tensor, which is still less than 1 pound. This pad makes NO air noise at all. Remarkable! 3 inches of pure comfort! I've been sleeping on this pad ever since I got it. Around the 1st of the year, I was waking up with right shoulder pain, the first night, it was gone! IT'S A MIRACLE! I can't say enough great things about this pad. I've been packing for over 40 years, nothing's come close to this pad. Thanks again to Campsaver for the awesome Labor Day sale!!!

As good if not better than ThermaRest Neo Air Lite, but for a better price.

After 35 years of backpacking, the perfect sleeping mattress for me has finally been invented! I am a side sleeper. I am 6'2, 210 lbs. I tried all he different pads, self inflating, blow ups, foam, wide, narrow, thick & thin.
My problem is my hip bones always get sore resulting in tossing and turning with soreness in the morning and without the best of sleep. All my buddies would always say they slept great! I tried under-inflating and over-inflating various air mattresses. I even tried the X-Frame (lookitup).
I chose the 25" wide model, was tired of the narrow pads in the endless pursuit of going ultralight. The horizontal baffles allowed for more flexible and precise cushioning as opposed to vertical baffles. The thinner material seems to lend itself to a softer pillow-like cushion.
The mattress has some thermal insulation but I cannot really comment accurately on how warm it is since I have used the mattress just once, and in mild temperatures. Also I really don't rely on an air mattress for warmth, instead I dress appropriately.
Now I am the one who sleeps great!!

This pad is a read game changer. I have always used a camping pad such as the Therm-a-rest ridgerest due to its light weight. Before the Nemo Tensor, I had considered the Therm-a-rest Neo Air, but had found it to be way too loud (very crinkly) to sleep on. The Nemo Tensor has fixed this problem.

It takes a little effort to inflate, and makes a little noise when you roll over, but it’s so comfortable, even for side sleepers, that these minor drawback don’t matter!
