Pitch your tent and make sure it free of any dirt or soiled spots.Use Nikwax gear cleaner on it if need be and let it thoroughly dry.Then spray just the tent itself and let dry completely.Then put the rain fly on and tie down completely as taut as possible.Again spray Nikwax gear and solar weather proofing all over the fly and let completely dry(over night if need be).
