Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Quality
A little about me..an accident left my right ankle and foot weak and numb all the time. I did not want to be slowed down. I called campsaver and spoke to a great representative who knew exactly what shoes I needed. These are very comfortable. True to size. Ankle and arch support. Able to wear right ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Too small for my feet
I have size 6 feet with a wide forefoot and the 6.5 wide was too small and too tight. I tried them on in my house and my feet went numb. I’m used to hiking the rest of the year in Altras and wanted these as a cold weather (not mountaineering) hiking boot. Unfortunately they won’t work.

Order size up

by Natalie, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on December 24, 2020
I cannot rate comfort hiking, as they did not fit. I am a true 11 and fit perfectly in Ahnu size 11. Based on reviews I ordered size 11. Toe box is very uncomfortable and toe are cramped. I have a narrow foot, but maybe a 11wide would have fit. Other than that they were very comfortable in foot bed. Nice arch support. Just be sure to try on before ordering!

Squeakiest Boots Ever!

by GW, from IN, United States Written on December 20, 2020
If you want to wear a nearly $200 pair of the squeakiest boots imaginable, buy the Bridger 7” Women’s. What a waste of time and money. I called the REI in Indianapolis to see if they had the Columbia Women’s Bugaboot Plus IV. I recently had a hip replacement and am very nervous about falling on snow and ice. The sales rep talked me into the Oboz. I should have stuck to my first choice. Now I’m going to have to take my time to return these boots and hope that I don’t have to wait weeks for a replacement.

Sturdy, lightweight, and comfortable

by Julie, from CA, United States Written on September 15, 2020
So far, I am VERY happy with this boot. It provides great foot support. I have a wide foot and the width is perfect for me. Great for hiking on rocky trails and longer distances. This boot replaced a pair of Vasque boots which had also served me well.
Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • well designed
  • Well-constructed, roomy, as advertised.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • HIKING

Great shoes but not wide and I’d size up.

by Johanna Robertson, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on September 15, 2020
The shoes are technically awesome for more intense hiking like hard 14ers with lots of scrambling. Very sticky and you can’t feel rocks under you with the thick soles. My main complaint is that the wide is not really wide. I spend so much money trying to find wide shoes. I actually need to see if I can still return them or exchange for a size larger and see if that helps. They are great shoes and I am a extreme athlete and have had all kinds of hiking shoes.

Sadly, did not fit

by Nusu, from NH, United States Written on July 8, 2020
I was so hoping these would fit; have Oboz winter boots. Sadly, my wide dogs are just too wide for these. Oboz makes a great boot, so if they it, I do recommend! Now this silly review process tells me I need to write more. OK, here's more.

You can't beat Oboz!!

by hikergirl, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on April 20, 2020
I have worn Oboz for a few years now. The quality is excellent and doesn't even compare to other well-known brands and, I've worn them all (and, at MUCH higher prices)! They have a nice arch and great support. The tread is excellent for any type of hiking, especially rocky terrain. My previous pair still have good tread on them, still sturdy and they are 3 years old!! I had gotten used to replacing mine every year but, these hold up unbelievably well! I will still use them on less rocky terrain as the sole's cushioning has diminished a bit but, after 3 years...I can accept that! I love my new ones which are quite similar to my last pair. Comfortable right from the get go! No slipping and sliding on uneven terrain. They keep my ankles protected from twisting with the sturdy upper. If you are looking for new hiking boots, you CANNOT go wrong with Oboz!

A word about Campsaver...I was hesitant to buy from them when I saw the "not so great reviews". I cannot say enough good things about them! The customer service is excellent, they shipped FAST and the boots are as described...actually BETTER!
Pros:
  • Great Tread
  • Sturdy and built to last
  • Reasonably priced
  • Great support, traction and comfort.
  • Last forever
  • nice arch
  • ready right out of the box
  • great company
Cons:
  • none!

True to size

by ml, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on September 11, 2019
Nice to have a wide boot that is well made. It did feel heavy. This one has good arch support but toe box was tight on me.
I wore them for about 10 minutes and knew that I needed to return them. I didn't think I would like the red color, but it was not
that bad.

Oboz Bridger Hiking Boot

by J, from NH, United States Written on October 15, 2018
The boot appears to be well constructed and comfortable. Unfortunately it runs small. I feel it is hard to by boots on-line unless you have tried them on. Also, they are a little narrow. Waiting for a size that actually fits.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
Cons:
  • Runs small
Best Used for:
  • HIKING

Very nice boot

by Karen, from MA, United States Written on October 13, 2018
Lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof. This is my first pair of Oboz and I’ll definitely be getting more on the future. I’m a dog walker and it’s bee so happy d to find comfortable, waterproof, durable, shoes. These have checked all the boxes and I’ll continue to get new ones once I wear these ones out. Shoes don’t usually last long for me do I’m curious to see how long they last. They are well made so I’m hopeful.
