The Oboz Mid B-DRY hiking boots have a great arch support system, an attractive boot design (color and laces), and excellent traction HOWEVER in my opinion there may be a flaw in the design of the upper ankle design of the boot. Inside of the boot, where the fabric is attached to the leather, there is a seam that creates chafing and irritation to my ankle. Just wearing the boots around the house I noticed a great deal of discomfort which resulted in my returning the boots for a refund.

Was so excited about these shoes: light weight, waterproof, supportive arch, great tread.... no one told me about the seam until after I got them. There is a seam on the inside of the ankle part of the shoe that rubs the top of your ankle. I even tried with great hiking socks and lacing the shoe differently and you can still feel it walking around the house. Now I have to return these shoes and find something else. (PS the Sapphires have the same issue).
Pros:
None
Cons:
rub on ankles
Best Used for:
Return to store
Would recommend: No

A nice lightweight pair of hiking shoes. The material is water resistant and breathable. If you’re looking for a pair of hiking shoes for long distance hikes I think I would go with a pair with a little more of a solid more rigid sole. However these would be good for hikes up to it I’d say at least 5 miles.
Pros:
Light weight, waterproof, breathable fabric
Cons:
The sole of the shoe could be more rigid.

These are beautiful light weight shoes and I'm very pleased. They run a bit small and if you were to wear thick hiking socks with them you'd need to go up one size. I went up one half size and with regular socks they are just fine.
Pros:
Light weight
attractive
Cons:
Runs small
Best Used for:
walking
