Just Right

I bought these shoes for long walks and medium uphill hikes but have been pleasantly surprised. I did 400 miles of PCT last summer and would trust these for that. Even though they are light they protect the soles of feet well from sharp rocks. Great footing even in mud or wet rocks, although not really sticky rubber. Very comfortable and wide box.

Great shoes

These are great trail running shoes. They seem closest to the old Montrail Hardrock which is my gold standard. They fit right out of the box and feel very stable and durable. They have good traction and you can run over sharp rocks without grimacing. My feet are happy all day long with these.

Great Trail Runner

I love my Lightnings. They come with two foot beds which is awesome. I can switch them out based on what I'm doing. They are light, super comfortable and great on the trail. I'm an Oboz trail runner convert.
