I have a wide foot and normally were a 8.5 EE. I purchased a 9 D it fits great. I purchased them in July of this year 2019 and wear them at my day job (I work at a Marina in Greenwood Lake New York) I am also an avid hiker. Right out of the box these boots fit perfect and were super comfortable, they have held up great so far. I also have previously owned Merrells and Keen which I also liked although the Merrells as of late don't hold up well or stay water proof for more than 6 months to a year, these were much better 10-12 years ago. I am going to purchase a second pair but this time I will get the waterproof model of the SawTooth. I would highly recommend this model and the brand.

The Oboz footbed, sole and upper construction in this Sawtooth model provide exceptional support and outstanding comfort out of the box. If they wear like my Sawtooth hi-top hiking boots, the upper will be nearly indestructible, the laces will eventually wear through, and the outer sole, which is made of a relatively soft compound, will wear down if used too much on asphalt and concrete. Fortunately, Oboz replaces wornout laces, and once the sole is worn down so they start to slip in dirt, mud and rocks, they still have many miles of comfortable city and street use left.

That’s a good product for hiking as I have plenty of experience for that activity. It’s suitable for different types of traits and good quality for feet protection as well. It will be highly recommended products to order.

Excellent shoes. Right out of the box they are a perfect fit and require no break in period. A little care should be taken on wet surfaces as they can be a little slippery. I tend to have a hard time finding shoes that give a well balanced feel for hiking. Shoes either hurt my ankle or the ball of my foot. When these shoes first arrived I headed out for a two night three day hike over roughly 45 miles. These performed flawlessly. No foot pain whatsoever.
Pros:
- Excellent fit and support

Haven't had much of a chance to use them yet, but walked around a little with them on. Feels nice, but I would like to see the shoes being made in a wider size. They may be a little snug for what this shoe considers to be wide. Then they would be perfect!
With that said, it is one of the more comfortable shoes i have had on my feet.

Ive had a couple pairs of this shoe. They fir my feet very well. I hike and back pack with them . The average is 21-25 mile trips on overnights. They hold up pretty well and are very comfortable. They have a good sole for someone looking for a shoe with a tall arch in ny opinion. They are priced fair and they offer a mid cut version.

A coworker recommended them due to my terrible lower back problems. I was in such pain anything was worth a try. After all, the Merrills I bought the week before and the six month old Keens were not giving me any relief. The first day, and now for two weeks I am nearly pain free. I never would have guessed they would be so amazing.

These are good light hikers. The soles have a fantastic grip but After a five mile hike with lots of up hill the front of my feet were feeling stressed. The right foot even hurt. Though the insoles are highly supportive for the heel and arch the front portion is thin so that is something to consider if you have that concern. They are roomy so I have to wear thick wool socks and lace tightly. Sadly I’ll need to replace the insoles to secure the fit. I purchased the non-waterproof shoe so there is more mesh than the waterproof version and that makes the shoe less solid all around. After writing Oboz they recommended three different models to meet my needs. Also, I doubt these shoes will hold up to carrying additional weight depending on your tolerance.
Cons:
- Support and too much mesh.

Very first rate quality shoes.
Seem right on size and fit.
Haven’t had long enough to rate durability but seems that will be no issue .
Grip is very impressive.
Would definitely recommend.
Campsaver price and shipping were first rate.
