I purchased the "Wide" size, and the length was as I would have expected, but this shoe is NARROW even in the wide version. I would ONLY recommend this shoe if you have a regular size foot, and NOT wide.
Pros:
Quality seems very good
Cons:
Wide size is only about D or E width
Best Used for:
HIKING
Would recommend: Yes

This is a nice well-made & comfortable hiking shoe. As someone who is medically unable to drive and does a lot of commuting by foot I love that is waterproof. Another plus is it is formal enough to wear in the office. A+
Pros:
waterproof
comforable
Cons:
None
Would recommend: Yes

I have flat feet and these Oboz Tamaracks provide comfortable yet stable support for walking, standing and hiking. The inner soles are well built and sometimes I use my own prescription orthotics - either works well. All top grade materials and a stiff but forgiving sole designed for durability. I normally trash a pair of shoes every few months but all my Oboz shoes last years. Highly recommended.
Pros:
Well built and great support all around.
Weight color and fit
Comfort & Traction
Cons:
NONE
Best Used for:
Walking anywhere, urban, rural ,trails
Hiking & casual wear
non slip
Would recommend: Yes

Most hiking shoes and boots tout their flexibility and comfort but lack the protection needed to hike on a typical Arizona trail. Not these. Their soles are stiff and supportive. I bought them over the Firebrand because they have a feature the other lacks. There is an additional eyelet at the top of the shoe which can be used for heel lock. Very important on a stiff shoe. I can't comment on the BDry as I have not yet encountered a water crossing while wearing them. I bought the 12W and they fit me well.

Very comfortable Shoes - I have a hard time finding the right size and wide of the show. Oboz is the only one I found colors and comfortable - Took it to Smoky Mountain for Hiking. Life Saver. I bought a pair from REI paid 140.00. Was on sales during November sales. I couldn't resist and purchase another one.
Pros:
Good price - on sales
Cons:
NONE
Best Used for:
HIKING
