No break in. Comfortable right out of the box. I wear them for work, value the waterproofing and insulation. My third pair, previous pairs have lasted me 2years each, worn every day.
I recently bought a pair of oboz yellowstone I I , and my first impression wearing them was the comfort and the feeling of safety for my feet my first walking experience with them was about 6 miles under 80 F . . . I am very pleased with them, I recommend highly, excellent material quality and finish . . .

This boot fits my foot well as it is narrower than the keen targhee. My only complaint is the top tends to bite on both feet on the inside. Hopefully they will break in.

I use these shoes for backpacking all around east coast. Great shoe and waterproof. Surprisingly it holds up in snow, it's even warm in it( if wearing a pair of wool socks ). But it's not a heavy hiking shoe. Love em so far(had them for 4 hard working months). Great shoes!

There's not much I can say about these boots other than WOW! After some extended research in attempts to find a reliable, supportive, and waterproof boot I decided to go with the Yellowstone II. I'm glad I made that choice. After a few 10 milers the boots began to lose their stiff feel and became a perfect fit. With a solid mix of comfort and protection these boots will take you over mountains, th
