Fit and finish is great. The fit is similar, if not the same, as Oboz Bridge B-dry mid. A snug but not too snug ankle with a generous forefoot and toe box. These a a beautiful boot and appear very well made. I have bridgers and while they are a great boot, the nubuck lends to absurd dew and water encountered on the trail, eventually leading to wet feet even with the b-dry membrane. The Yellowstone's a beefier boot, which I like for off-trail mountain hunting, etc...and I'm hoping that the full grain leather will help to shed water. My lightweight Bridgers still have their place, but I'll be putting many rugged miles on these boots and look forward to seeing how they perform. Lastly, Oboz is part of the Conservation Alliance, meaning they put up money to help protect wild landscapes and public lands -- I appreciate that commitment in a company.
Pros:
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Fit and comfort
rugged
full grain leather
Cons:
None apparent
Best Used for:
backpacking, hunting, off trail adventuring
Would recommend: Yes
