A great, simple, classic camping or backpacking mug. Solid as a rock, easy to read measurements on the cup itself and can easily back down inside a jetboil or another pot. Dropped this on my last camping trip and it took it like. a champ, no dents or dings at all.

While Olicamp's Hard Anodized Mug does hold more and is half the weight, it is more expensive, and not up to the level of abuse and confident use in the fire that this stainless provides.
The cup is preferred over a rival Ozark Trail version by its build quality and especially the Olicamp's graduations, useful for freeze dried meal prep, and for which its capacity is adequate as well.

For the price this is a great basic cup, I recently went on a 5 day backpacking trip around Upper Michigan and bought this primarily for drinking tea/coffee. It's small and light enough to hang off the back of your pack, personally I was able to fit an extra small msr fuel container inside to save space.

The steel cup fits the Nalgeen bottle tightly, but is easy to part. The cup is large enough for beverages or a good meal of soup, rice and beans.

There are about 4 or 5 different companies that make more or less the same cup. The olicamp is physically the largest (by only about 2mm) but that's the difference between nesting a tritan bottle and only being able to nes the slightly narrower HDPE bottles. Also, the olicamp is the only one that has graduation marks on the cup, the rest do not. Third, it uses a "better" 18-8 stainless steel. fourth, it has a smooth flat bottom and no ridges making it more solid on smaller stoves. I literally use mine ever single day on my home stove for coffee.

My main intention on using this product is for single use over a cat food can stove.

I got this cup to save sapce in my backpack and boil water with a alcohol stove. BUT this stainless steel cup slides around on the stove, So I don't know how safe it going to use.

This cup is very solid and will probably last a lifetime, It is a little heavy for backpacking compared to the titanium options available but a whole lot cheaper than titanium. I purchased it for the bottle holder on my maxpedition colossus which is my everyday carry bag, I can use it for drinking or for boiling water or cooking.
