Reviews & Ratings for Olicamp Xts Pot
— 7 reviews — Page 1
I own several backpacking pots including Evernew Titanium, Primus Anodized Aluminum and GSI Aluminum Soloist. Hands down, the Olicamp XTS is my new favorite and here's why. I did comparison tests with all my pots to see how long it takes to boil 2 cups of water using my new IsoButane Olicamp Ion Micro stove. Using the Olicamp XTS pot, I got a rolling boil in 2:10 using only 5 grams of fuel. My other pots took from 3 1/2 to 4 minutes to get a rolling boil and used 7 to 9 grams of fuel. The heat sink on the Olicamp XTS really works. It's quicker to boil and uses less fuel. I'm extremely satisfie...

This is perfect for back packing and motorcycle camping. It will go on my canoe trips also. Using an alcohol stove I was able to boil a liter of water in about 8 minutes with a wind screen. It feels well built and is easy to clean. Not heavy, no need to go with a titanium pot.
Pros:
Well built
Cons:
NONE

Another great product from olicamp. Well designed pot, quick boiling, lightweight, great handle. Only thing would be a metal lid with a foldaway handle.

Just received the pot and I'm pretty happy with it. Pot came with a small blue spouge inside, a nice surprise.
PROS:
Mesh bag has a tight fit, but since silicon lid has it as well, seems to be that I will leave it at home.
Handles are stable and insulation is ok, silicon coverage could be a little more generous. Water levels are only in ounces (and not in ml).
I'd boiled 1 liter of water (inicial temp = 7°C) in less than 3 minutes and spent 14 grams of the gas canister.
Canisters fits perfectly in the pot, and I can also put the stove inside (SOTO OD - 1RX). This is great and will save me a lot of space inside the pack.
CONS:
Weight. It's not heavy, but does not weight what is advertised in the box or here at CampSaver. Actual weight (pot+lid) is 335 grams (11.8 oz), almost twice as much. If you weight it with mesh bag and sponge, gonna be 348 grams.

This purchase along with the windscreen was a perfect compliment to the stove I already owned. I love that it's all self contained and light weight. This will help with my self support kayaking and backpacking trips I love doing.
