I wanted a pocket knife that did not have a drop point tip and something I could use in the kitchen. This knife handle fits me perfect, but I have smaller hands. It cuts vegetables and meat with ease. I really like the thin blade. This is my first Opinel and I will be buying more. This blade has a very shallow angle, I think this lends to why it carves so well.
