Bob is my friend!

It's a sponge...that actually works well. I carry my Bob sponge anytime I go car/moto camping, canoe tripping, or bike touring, but generally would not bring it on a backpacking trip. It does seem to be pretty durable, as I have been using the same Bob sponge for a few years now.
Pros:
  • It's green and scrubby!
Cons:
  • NONE
Best Used for:
  • Cleaning Dirty Pots OR Really Smelly Armpits!

I should have read the measurements

I thought this sponge would be great for wiping down my kayak but it is for washing dishes at the campsight. It is pretty small but you know it is a good idea. When I kayak I bring a small cooler and this little sponge will likely be great for washing out dishes. It has a scouring pad on one side and the sponge is the green part. It seems well made and quite functional.
Pros:
  • small enough to fit in a cooler but good for washing up camp dishes
Cons:
  • Too small for swamping out the kayak
Best Used for:
  • dish cleaning at the campsite
