The Optimus Windshield is a lightweight, hard anodized aluminum, clip-on windshield for your stove. It saves you fuel by reducing boil times in windy conditions, and is flexible enough that should fit gas canister and pots with a max diameter of 5 in.

Just Buy It!

This thing flat out works. Not at all fiddly. Easily slips on and off of any standard gas canister, but remains firmly in place when installed. Springs closed to fit around my 1.1ltr pot (110mm diameter) for carrying, so It doesn't feel like another bit of kit. It easily springs open to fit around any stove with a pot support diameter of less than 120mm.

Compact and light

Works great with my Pocket Rocket Deluxe stove and 100g fuel canister, nests inside my GSI Halulite 1.1L boiler pot along with 100g fuel can, can stabilizer and stove. Clips right onto any of my fuel canisters and decreases boil times.

Seems a bit wonky at first, but once clipped onto fuel canister it is solid and works well. Fits my Kovea Supalite stove and Toaks 1100ml pot. A good start for a lightweight camping/hiking cookware kit, or you cant buy the kit.

Canister windshield

This product may not be an ultralight solution but a practical solution. The windshield clips onto the canister well, nests with the Esbit pot for packing. The windshield also Works with my Snow Peak stove. You'll receive great customer service for Campsaver!

Windshield for canister stove

Great lightweight and durable windshield for canister stoves. Fits my MSR pocket Rocket 2 perfectly. Really helps on windy days and improves the bill time. Fuel canister fits inside of it, and both fit inside my MSR 1L pot making everything compact.

Lightweight, safe and a perfect fit!!!!

Love this little windshield. Very lightweight for its size and nests perfectly around my cook-set. Protects the flame/stove/burner from the wind, but does not allow for any great retention around the gas canister. Excellent product.
