The only thing I noted upon opening was that one tank attachment devices was off and in the case, the other was very loose.
Considering it was shipped from Sweden lord knows how many times it got beat around. This is nothing to me.
Reattached with some blue Loctite and no worries.
The Nova burner is amazing. No need to change jets with different fuels. Primes / heats quickly due to its open bottom design and the internal heat sink fins help tremendously with this. Tank was clean inside and is made of brass. Case is pwder coated matte / crinkle finish. Been cooking with it since i recieved it and no troubles.
Great high output and good simmer too.

  • Very solid and well built.

  • Kind of Heavy

  • Base Camp or car camping.

Hiker Plus Stove

I had one of these when I was in Special Forces stationed @ Ft Devens, Ma. It worked great then and this new one works great now. Multi-fuel! Excellent!

Hiker Plus Stove

This is a great stove for car camping or to keep in the car/truck. It's too heavy for backpacking however. Good points are the multi fuel capability, good flame control, from simmer to full blast, and very robust construction. It's nice in that it is self contained with integral fuel tank.

The first stove came to me with a defective pump. No problem, sent it back and got my replacement today. It works great, can't wait to put it to use!

I've wanted one for years
