Simmers or works as a blast furnace. Sturdy, stable, wicked design. Can be totally field maintained. I LOVE the all metal pump vs a plastic pump. Packs nicely. The OFF feature on the bottle is a good fuel (and mess) saver. For the money I would buy this hands down over comparably priced MSR any day of the week. Its just made better. [...]

Good expedition stove you can depend on

Bought this stove after my MSR Dragonfly valve broke twice before I could get it into the field. The Nova metal valve is almost indestructible, and the ON/OFF feature is great to prevent gasoline spills. Lights easily, just remember not to over pump the bottle to avoid surging. Very hot flame with easy flame control -- all the advantages of the Dragonfly without breaking when you need it.

Solid stove

No plastic parts, seems like the all metal will last for a while.
