Well thought out…
Light weight for what it is, good to able to change the hardware into my other ortovox packs without having to buy another kit. The compartments are well placed and sized. Sturdy construction as well.

Save weight, Stay alive
This was the first airbag pack I had and I really like it. Its great for quick missions and day tours. Personally it was a little small for me for days of guiding and teaching avalanche courses and I have since upgraded to the Ascent 40L and love it. The access to the main compartment is awesome, there is a zipper top and bottom so getting the puffy at the bottom of your pack is super easy. I have had skis, ice tools, crampons, and all kinds of stuff in this pack and it carries it well. It's also nice being able to dry fire and practice deploying the airbag without the canister installed.
My only reason for not giving this pack 5 stars is the lack of internal pockets (which is solved by organizing your stuff into a couple stuff sacks).
I am a full time, year-round mountain guide and a member of the Ortovox North American team I received this gear to test and use.
