first impression not soo good
i purchased this shovel and when i recieved it i couldnt get it to collapse out of the shoveling position because the plastic nipple on the handle that is supposed to collapse the shovel down when it is slid all the way down the shovel shaft was too short. so i had to appoxy the piece to make it longer.
i called ortovox and they are very slow to get back to me.
so not soo pleased with this produc

Cheaply made for the price
The mechanism doesn't work very well at all. Great concept but terrible design. Doesn't lock in the closed position. Won't stay on the 90 degree position. Looks like it was made by some 5 year olds in kindergarten.
