Most Helpful Positive Review Great Pack
Works amazing for mountain biking. I originally just bought it for hiking, and it is a great day pack for summer hikes. I hike in mountains and hot weather often and stuff 4 liters of water reservoir packs in this backpack (turns out it actually has a pouch specifically made for this). This is plenty of space for the water needed on a 12 hour day hike even in dry climates above and high altitudes above 13,000 feet. There's also space left over for a couple layers of clothes and snacks without being a bulky pack. Super comfy, it has a curvature to fit your back and openings in the curve against...

Great Backpack

by Virginia is 4 Lovers, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on June 28, 2021
This pack is great for day trips. It's storage is great. But the connectivity between it and the Osprey Fairview 65L needs to be revisted. It takes some time to attach a fully loaded Daylite Plus pack to the Fairview because of the loops on the Fairview and the buckles on the Daylite Plus. I've always loved those Osprey bags with the "clip" attaching methods with are fast and simple.
If this were fixed then I could see this being a "5 star" day pack. There's still plenty of options included that makes it super easy to recommend this pack to anyone doing anything from a simple day hike, touring a new city, or even enjoying a day at an amusement park. This pack is very light and flexible, yet sturdy enough to maintain even long walks. This pack definitely works for me!
Pros:
  • Light, flexibility, dedicated space for water bladder, and storage w/mesh pockets
Cons:
  • Buckle to loop attachment system needs to be explored
Best Used for:
  • Day trips to include adding to several Osprey travel/luggage packs

Like others have said, side water bottle pockets is where rhey dropped the ball IMO. Already had water bottle fall out a couple times. And when I don't have 2 water bottles, I would really like to stash some other items in the pocket, but I don't trust it. So it sits empty when it could be so functional. Simple elastic draw cord you could tighted would have made this my go to small daypack. Had I not got a great deal on it, I would return it for this issue. Everything esle, well thought out.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Adaptable
  • Sufficient storage
  • Compression straps
Cons:
  • Water bottle pocket issues
Best Used for:
  • Around town, small day hikes

Solid daypack

by Carpathian, from TN, United States Written on June 26, 2021
Fits the purpose of a durable pack for a day in many conditions. The other reviews that point out the failure to secure water bottles properly are true. You can get certain bottles to stay but it takes a bit more than stuffing into a side pocket, which isn't ideal while walking. Still would buy again with listed issue.
Pros:
  • Durable, comfortable
Cons:
  • Water bottle pocket issues
Would recommend: Yes

  • Ventilation and amount it can carry
Cons:
  • None

Great daypack

This pack is just the perfect size for a day hike! Lightweight, comfortable and cute. I like the stash pocket on the outside for my phone, and the verticals zipper makes it easier to get things in and out when you swing it around to your left side. I like the daylite plus because it has an area to stuff a rain jacket on the outside of the backpack and you don’t need to get all the way into the backpack to grab it. In the middle organization pocket there is a little hook, and it clips to my small zipper wallet loop so it secure and won’t fall out if I’m grabbing sunscreen or chapstick :) it’s perfect and I’ve bought one for the whole family!!
Pros:
  • Size, weight, versatile, organized
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Day hikes, small travel bag, kids can use it for school

Osprey Daypack

Excellent pack and customer service. The pack is roomy and has an outstanding padded lumbar support not usually found on 20L daypack with inside pockets and outside bottle holders. Highly recommend Osprey products and CampSaver.

I am so excited about this backpack. I love the blue color. It's lightweight and has a ton of pockets and features. I will probably not use the hydration pocket but I'm glad it's there in case I do decide to use it in the future. I would recommend and would buy again.

I bought this as a daypack for my daughter. The layout is really handy. It’s got a good pocket assortment with plenty of tie off points. It holds a water bladder. Has comfortable straps and easy to use zippers, and of course has that awesome Osprey warranty.
