This pack met all expectations. Using it for a multi day hike with significant elevation where using a 2lb back pack is a major weight saver. Very comfortable and well designed with practical features. Fast delivery from CampSaver allowed me to use it for a last minute planned hike on Sunshine Coast Trail.
Pros:
- Very light with good carrying capacity for multi-day hikes .
Cons:
- Wish it incorporated a day pack in the top compartment.
Best Used for:
- Multi day hikes where weight and comfort are important factors.

Awesome pack that cuts 4 pounds off of my previous pack. Also, it's the only pack I have ever worn that leaves your back completely dry even in warm temps.

I'm training for an appalachian trail section hike and planning on using this pack. So far I've done 3 hikes with it loaded to 25 LBs and it feels great. The torso length didn't quite match me but went with a LG and it's working fine.

Good pack, a little tight on my shoulders, worked perfectly for my three week travel in Europe though. I strongly recommend getting fitted in an outlet before purchasing online.

This is a great pack. It is lightweight and yet has the capacity to hold 40 lbs with no issues. The breathable straps are surprisingly sturdy. It has many pockets that allow you to keep track of all the little items. It is large enough to carry all that I want to carry on a 3-4 day trip. I love it

Finally had a chance to use the updated Osprey Exos 58 this past weekend with my kids. It performed very well - I had it packed with approx 25 lbs of gear, food and water, and it never felt uncomfortable. It carries a BV500 bear bin sideways and swallows it easily, but still carries a balanced load very well - distributing the weight well no matter if I packed the food and bin in the bottom, middle or top, which I found surprising. Really nice access to water bottles, great compartments in the lid for organizing gear - and all that in a 2.5 lb option. I had the older Exos 48, and while it was nice, I think the extra carrying volume of the 58 is best unless you're a dedicated UL enthusiast. I can't wait to take it out on the trail again!

Purchased for my son for Christmas. He had done the research and this one was a favorite, also due to others recommending it . I was happy about finding it on sale at Campsaver.com! This was exactly what we wanted at the cheapest price!
