Most Helpful Positive Review Great Bag, highly recommend
This is a solid bag with plenty of room and a perfect pocket for a hydration bladder. The only minor downside of this bag is that the only place to enter the bag is from the top which can be tough to find things at times. Wouldn't turn me away though because the quality is so good!

Osprey Trip 20

by WAHiker, from WA, United States Written on May 21, 2018
Purchased for son to use as a Day pack. Fits great, looks great and he is happy with the size fitting a jacket has a h2o bladder sleeve and he might use that instead of carrying a bottle. Main body is open.

Osprey need I say more

by Robert Edwards, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 10, 2018
This pack may be simple, but that is the point. The fit is good and the price cannot be beat. I know they have stopped making this item but it is an osprey and well you can't go wrong with anything they make. One of the main reasons I got this other then price was that it has the hydration sleave. I use this for quick hikes, and anytime I need a simple pack.

Good little pack- GREAT BIG CAUSE

by HBP, from NY, United States Written on May 6, 2018
I bought this small pack for my nine year old as a day pack for hiking and walking trips. We both liked it so much I bought a second one for myself. It has all I wanted in a pack - hip strap, sternum strap, bladder pocket, stash pocket on top and side mesh pockets. Also it is small enough to put into a larger bag. The shoulder straps are slightly padded and not that thick, not good for heavy loads or long hauls, but enough to be comfortable for a whole day with water, jacket, snacks, book, first aid pack, phone, keys and. Wallet inside. The hip strap is thin, and not at all padded. Not great for heavy loads but enough to help out on medium loads. The clips and plastic strap hardware are light weight and look like they could be a bit fragile, but nothing has broke on me yet., ( and it would be an easy fix if it did). Over all I am happy with the bag, can’t beat the price Ir the cause.
Pros:
  • Sturnum strap, hip strap, side mesh pockets, H2O bladder
Cons:
  • Thin straps, lightweight hardware,
Best Used for:
  • Short walks/hikes, A+ as a kids starter pack

Osprey nps trip 20 Day pack

by D, from IL, United States Written on March 22, 2018
I bought this for a day hiking trip in Sedona where I set up camp for a week without having to carry my huge Osprey back pack - the color is great- and best of all it fits my osprey 3 liter water filtration with enough room for
Rain gear, lunch and some protein bars
Thanks

Need improvement

by Ray, from WA, United States Written on February 23, 2018
Pros: Good day pack; right size. Light weight; simple; Good to have zipped pocket on lid. Have a hydration compartment.
Need Improvement: Need pocket or pouch inside the pack. Exterior side pockets need to be sewn on, with room to expand outward instead of inward taking up valuable space in the main pack. i.e. when i place my water bottle in the pocket it eats into the interior space of the main pack. reducing space.
