Raptor 14 Rocks

by Beth K., from OH, United States Written on June 12, 2015
We ordered this hydration pack specifically to take to a weekend camping music festival. After ordering a smaller version elsewhere, he realized he needed more space and returned it. Campsaver had the Raptor 14, so we gave it a try. It apparently did a great job. My son reported that the hydration bladder was larger than most, easy to fill, and very accessible. The pack itself held everything he needed, but was light and comfortable. He is looking forward to using it on the trails as well, and highly recommends it. He did some research before we decided on an Osprey product, and he is now recommending that the whole family get Osprey packs.

Awesome Hydration/Cycling Pack

by Ross O., Written on April 27, 2015
Purchased this bag after a lot of research about the best hydration packs for hiking, trail running, and cycling. I really wanted the Osprey Zealot 15, but it was $140 :( Got this one on an incredible discount, and I must say I'm very satisfied with it. Perfect amount of capacity for a quick or long day trip why still being lightweight and comfortable. Lots of organization and I love the roll out tool pocket that folds and zips into the bottom of the pack. Awesome pack by Osprey, but I really hope to try the Zealot 15 next year. That neon orange looks amazing. 4 stars because the straps are a little odd to get used to and the hip pockets could be a pinch bigger for easier access/larger storage.

Fantastic Hydration Pack!

I purchased this pack to replace an old CB Mule. The first thing I noticed is the nice waist support belt, closer design to an actual hiking pack. Most biking packs only have a thin strap to help stability, this one actually takes the weight off the shoulders. Awesome.
The only thing I did not like, pack was very stiff on my first ride. I quickly discovered if you flex & bend the back support, as

Fantastic hydration pack

I've owned a few different hydration packs, but this Osprey is amazing and light years ahead of anything thing else in terms of thoughtful design. Some high points:

> Mesh shoulder straps and back are cool and comfortable.
> Reservoir features a very wide mouth and stiffened with a plastic spine - makes filling fast and easy.
> The combination of the stiffness of the reservoir and the special fa
