High quality, amazing back support, fits all your essentials

by Heidi D., Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on January 25, 2016
With this being my first Osprey pack, I was very impressed at the quality and how sound and sturdy it was. The back support was so much better than other hydration packs I've had. There was plenty of pockets and room to carry the essentials.

That being said, the pack did feel a tad long and big for a petite girl like me (5'1) who just wanted something to carry water and a sandwich. But I liked the concept and feel of it so much that I thought about keeping it as a winter hiking pack, but it didn't have enough room for that gear. So I'm considering buying the next size up or the Kode model as a winter hiking pack.

But I highly recommend this pack if you're a guy looking for a lightweight ski hydration pack or a taller girl than me.

A decent pack but lacks a key advertised feature

by Deanna S., Written on December 18, 2014
The pack seem great overall...a good amount of space without being bulky or heavy, thermal shoulder strap for hydration tubes, good sizes/variety of pockets. However, I was not pleased and sent the pack back immediately. A key feature that the pack advertises is that it is easy to open and access the main pouch while a snowboard is strapped on, but this is not true. The top snowboard strap attaches to the pack BEHIND the main pouch zipper making it inaccessible while carrying a board. A major design flaw that unfortunately caused me to send the pack back before even using it on the mountain.
