I was looking for a pack to use walking the Camino. This one appealed to me because of the unique suspension between the waist belt and shoulder harness. I wore it for a three-hour training hike in the mountains with about 14 pounds of gear. It was amazingly comfortable!!
My old pack had an extra zippered side pocket and more tie-down options on the outside of the pack. I miss those but can get by without them.
I am very happy with my experience so far!

I've used this pack at least 3 times a week for the past year. This pack supports me while I perform trail building and maintenance. I haul a great deal of gear - tools (single jack, pick mattock, mini pick, silky, flags and flagging tape), medical kit supporting a crew of 10, wet weather gear, two liters of water, food, camera, communications. The available harness staps and other strap and back panel adjustments are fully functional; assist in fine tuning the fit. The bent stays and mesh back panel help provide a degree of cooling, but your back will still get wet. Of course, I am working and walking in the mountains. My only complaint is belt attachments pulling the pack straps forward are frayed and will soon break. I think it won't impact the overall functionality, but won't know until they go. While some ultralight packers may be able to use for an overnight, I cannot fit all the gear I would bring - 1 person tent, sleeping bag, water filter, extra food. Could use additional loops to carry tools - only offers one. I added a custom cord system to support additional gear.
Pros:
- Good capacity
- Generally durable

I average 4 days a week building and maintaining backcountry trails. Usual quality Osprey product. Use this pack to carry my personal supplies and help with small hand tools (silky, lopper, pixie, rock hammer) so my hands are free for pick-mattock and McLeod.
Pros: Adjustable back panel, Airspeed suspension, rain cover, compression staps, sleeping bag compartment (I use for my rain gear and medical kit)
Cons: Limited external attachment points (had to purchase a Trace One mininet for the rear panel), light colored straps and back panel (prefer back to hide the dirt), hip belt pockets too small (only work for multitool, whistle, small sunblock/bug cream, pocket camera)
Not sure this is big enough for much more than an overnighter. Have not tried to pack my overnight gear.

What a great pack. Bought this pack for day hikes and it's working out just fine. There's lots of room for everything I need on the trail. I'm even able to carry everything needed for both my wife and I. I'm planning on an over night hike and I'm sure this pack will work out just fine.

I actually purchased this backpack so I can carry groceries, packages, gym clothes etc around NYC without killing my back and having to pack multiple bags for the day like so many people do around here. Today was my first day with this pack and I am really pleased with it... I have to get used to the internal frame. I was used to a frameless pack that was not as nice but on the subway the rigid

I used this backpack on a three week trip through Cambodia and Vietnam. I was amazed how it held up as i continually crammed more and more junk in it. Towards the end i was waiting for it to explode from too much pressure. I didnt pace myself buying souvenirs and had to literally stand on the top of it to get it closed. it probably weighed 70 pounds when i went through customs. Being in warm

This is a great all around pack for adventure traveling. It provides plenty of space as a carry on luggage as well as provides plenty of features for a technical pack. The trekking pole loops are handy as well as the pockets on the hip belt. Use these pockets to store energy bars, small digital camera, and even a gps device for convenient access while hiking. Too bad there isn't an exterior stuff
