Broken buckle

The very first time I put the pack on with the plastic piece connecting to left shoulder strap to the pack broke rendering the left shoulder strap useless. Luckily osprey has a great lifetime warranty on their products. Other than the broken piece the pack is fantastic.

Love the Variant 52!

True to Osprey's reputation, the Variant 52 doesn't disappoint. Due to the pack extension and floating lid, you can pack much more than 52 liters. I packed all gear needed for 4 days of alpine rock climbing easily in the pack. Very comfy and I love the Axe tie offs.

Awesome pack!

This pack is lightweight, roomy, but has very good support. This is my current go-to summer pack and I was able to use in winter as well but I had to strap my sleeping bag on the outside in an event stuff sack. I highly recommend this bag!
