Like if batman wore a backpack instead of a belt...
The pack is a little awkward if you are used to a traditional pack. The method of opening the main pouch is similar to opening a lunch box. Slightly tedious. The flat hydration blader is somewhat uncomfortable. It doesn't contour to your back at all. I opted to use an Antidote blader and felt much more comfortable.
Good fit otherwise. Oh yes the hip pockets are a little awkward also. Difficult to zip/unzip while wearing and especially while in motion. Storage space is a plus. Hidden roll out tool pouch is fun but getting it in and out of its special place can be time consuming. Like when you overpack a duffle bag. Zipper issues.

Best 2013 pack for AM riding
What a well designed pack! The roll out tool bag on the bottom (ie. lowest center of gravity) was well thought out. The spine protection built into the bladder itself is also an ingenious idea. My pack is probably 1/3 full and it has: an extra chain, short cage der, two tubes, hv pump, first aid, spare small parts, etc. Camelbak; take notes!
