Might be the best cold weather ice climbing gloves currently on the market
I have been nursing along an old pair of punishers for about 6 years because the new ones don't fit. Tried the Arc'teryx ones and the fingers are too long. Most other gloves are bulky or not waterproof or warm enough for those 0 degree F New England days. These things are amazing. My hands were actually warm and the dexterity was excellent. I do have short fat fingers. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up as the material seems light but they definitely work.
Pros:
- waterproof
- warm
- Excellent fit
- grippy
Cons:
- Lightweight construction
Best Used for:
- ice climbing

A stop in search of the best gloves
I bought these gloves last year for myself... I have Reynauds syndrome and go figure... I climb ice for fun. . I have been very happy with the warmth when used with hand warmers for all day climbing even in windy, wet and frigid conditions. This pair, I purchased for my boyfriend and he’ll use them without hand warmers and likely be just as happy. My only criticism of this glove (and the reason for 4 and not 5 stars) is the same criticism I have of most gloves... I have small hands and the tips of each finger are still too long even in the women’s small. These then get caught in binders as I pull and place screws/draws... not sure there is an industry solution, but I’d be a willing tester as I know I am not alone. Thanks OR for making a great glove!
