I have seen friends using this often and read great reviews of it. While it was a bit pricey, I decided to get a pair for my winter/cold hikes. It was great as far as feature and quality - protective and stretchy. I think it would last for a long while. However, I am really not happy with the sizing option OR is providing. I wear pants with 32" waist and 30" inseam. That size is not offered by OR. I ended up getting a S with 30" waist and 31" inseam. Solid comfortable material. Good adjustments for layers. I wish it had a more form fit because they are slightly baggy and long, I almost put a crampon hole on inner thigh area, but I could just be more careful I guess. The wear pad on the inside ankle is in a useable area but also misses the mark where your crampon could brush up in the Achilles area, so gaitors it is. I would buy these again if they offered a trim cut, I don't need to look cool, I just need my gear to perform. 4.2069 stars.

Good stretch and comfort.
The main differences are the Cirque pants are made of slightly heavier soft shell material, and have added features of boot cuff guard and zippers on the cuff as well.
They are perfect for springtime ski touring/mountaineering - my intended use for these pants.
Pros:
Comfortable
Tough
Cons:
None
