This is nearly everything I wanted in a light-weight, foldable summit pack. It will easily fit in my large mountaineering pack, and be taken along on summit day. It would be nice if there were an internal divider behind which to either put a hydration bladder (although the tube exit port would then compromise the waterproof nature of the roll-top bag, so I get that), or a stiffening back pad to give it some shape and back protection. I'd also appreciate having some webbing or D-ring mounts across the shoulder straps, from which I could hang a camera, PLB, or GPS device. I'd also like a steeper 'slant' to the top of the side mesh pockets, to make it easier to remove things from those pockets while the bag is on my back. I haven't loaded it up with much weight yet, so can't comment on carrying comfort if full of climbing hardware, ropes, etc.
Best Used for:
bike commuting
mountaineering, hiking
Would recommend: Yes
