Nice material, great fit
I purchased these pants for a long backpack trip. The fabric is excellent - lightweight, good amount of stretch. I am 5'9" and 130 lbs and the size 6 fit perfectly, except they are a little bit short. I will keep them but in a perfect world, they would be 1" longer. They were super comfortable for hiking. Quick drying and very light.

zippers around thigh are too tight
I am 5'6 and weigh 116lbs. I wear a size 4 in pants and sometimes a size 6. The fabric of the pants are fine but the zippers that convert these pants to shorts are way too tight around the thighs. I have skinny legs.... I read the reviews that warned me about this but I ignored them b/c again, my legs are skinny. Standing up it feels annoying. When I sit down the thigh zippers feel awful b/c they're too tight. I will not be able to return them since it was a final sale. I took a gamble and I lost...

Well made but sizing is way off and leg zippers bulky
Outdoor Research makes good products but don't buy these pants. The sizing charts is way off, but the deal breaker is that the zippers that attach the legs to the shorts are bulky and uncomfortable. Did anyone at OR actually try these on?

Great pants
Wore these for a winter hike in the Adirondacks. Rugged 10 hour winter climb. I wore them with a mid weight base layer. Worked out perfectly. Stayed warm and dry. Great stretch with these pants. Highly recommend!
