Great LIGHTWEIGHT Softshell
Great jacket if you know what to expect. This is a real lightweight jacket perfect for wearing over my insulators to provide a bit of snag protection on the trail and wear as a stand alone once it warms up quite a bit. Just expect a light stretch shell and not a mid weight and you’ll be happy. True to size. Another nice OR product.

Seems like a great product, but not what I expected
I bought this to replace more a zip up lightweight sweater and was expecting something like that. That was my error as I should have looked closer at the material this is made of. This is a very lightweight jacket that seems like it wouldn't provide much warmth, but would keep the wind and rain out. I would wear this over a base layer to keep the base layer dry, but I wouldn't wear this as an item to keep me warm other than to block wind and rain. I've owned lots of Outdoor Research products over the years which is why I went with this one and it seems like the quality is as good as all the other Outdoor Research products I have bought in the past.
