Outdoor Research Floodlight Jacket - Mens-Baltic-Small, 323238
This jacket is very warm. I've worn it all winter and haven't been cold once, even in negative temps. It's the best down jacket on the market and fits as expected. 5'11 155 and medium is perfect. Do not listen to these idiots bad reviews. Buy it.
For a $400 jacket, there is egregiously little insulation. I don't care that it is 800+ fill. I've purchased sweaters and hoodies that were better insulated. The cost seems to be in the waterproof and windproof design, which won't help when the ambient temperature is below zero. The trim fit makes i...

This jacket is very comfortable, but the baffles came undone in the back and all the feathers pooled at the bottom of the jacket after one washing the jacket two times with Nikwax Down Wash Direct which was recommended by Outdoor Research. Most of their other jackets have been awesome, but this one still has its flaws.
Size small fits perfect whereas I needed to wear a size medium for the Cathode and Uberlayer.

outer shell is a bit noisy, but the warmth profile is good, especially given the extra wind protection. High pockets are good for a pack, bad for walking around w/ your hands in the pockets. Quality and zips are very good. Just the jacket I wanted! I got a large and it fits well. 5'10" 42 jacket 32 waist. Medium would have been too small.

Love this jacket. Very light but very windproof and remarkably warm. Like all other OR products this is well designed, durable, and very well made. Highly recommend.

So far so good, hasn't been truly cold or snowy yet in Boston. Seems to be cozy, lots of pocket space and room for a layer. Medium fits and I'm 5' 11'' and 160 lbs.
