So far so good

by JB, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on January 21, 2024
Tried them out once so far in -5 weather. Kept my hands comfortable. I'm quite sure they'll be great for skiing and other cold weather activity.

Best gloves I've ever owned

by ZC, from CO, United States Written on January 22, 2018
These Highcamp Gloves are incredible. The insulation keeps your hands toasty and the inner liners actually work with a smartphone. So far, I've used just the shells for snowboarding in ~30*F weather and then snowshoeing with the shells + liners in ~5*F temps. My feet got cold, but my hands were warm and dry!

Great gloves

by Zak, from IL, United States Written on January 18, 2018
I purchased these gloves when the waterproof lining in my 20 year old Granite Gear mittens started to fail. Since in my head I believe I can actually relive my glory days of adventure, back country skiing to amazing places; climbing huge ice pillars; and generally risking life and limb without a second thought, I purchased these gloves as a replacement. In reality, I'll be using them to brave the frigid Chicago winters, taking my kids sledding for hours on end, standing with the other dads, and talking about adventures from long-ago. These gloves have been great at the sub-zero temperatures of late.
Pros:
  • Warm, waterproof, and breathable.
Cons:
  • Not really a con, but they fit small.
Best Used for:
  • Any cold-weather activity.

Excellent Gloves

by Roger W., Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on October 3, 2016
I've only used these in temps in the mid 30's so far but kept my hands warm with the inserts and w/o the inserts. Can't wait to try them in colder temps, with a heat pack inserted between the liner and shell I'm confident they be effective in much colder temps-will do a follow up review this winter after some skiing and snowshoeing outings. The construction of the gloves seem to be top notch, after all they are made by Outdoor Research. One thing to take in consideration is the sizing-I normally wear a size large but had to get these in XL.

Super Nice Gloves

by SuperDave, from TN, United States Written on September 10, 2013
The fit is excellent, primaloft insulation the best all weather type to have in a glove, warmer pockets in the liner, and loops that wrap around wrists to prevent dropping glove from the lift, this is a quality, feature rich glove that I can't wait to put to use on the slopes.

Don't lose the liners

by Coffee grinding, from WA, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Haven't worn these gloves in the rain yet, but have worn them in 15 degree cold. Kept my hands and fingers completely warm. Feel like I highrolled it a little on these. Glad I did. Due to the high quality, I'll probably never have to buy another pair of cold weather gloves.
