I have had an arteryx shell for years. I thought I had the best shell on the market. I was wrong. The Interstellar is more lightweight and sheds water better. I was in Oregon this October and it rained most days we were up there. This shell was bomb proof. I’m 6 ft and 185 and bought a large.
Pros:
everything

nothing

Have not tested in heavy rain, however, sheds water fairly well so far. Fit is trim compared to North face but comfortable. I do wish they made the waist a little looser as it tends to ride when you're walking, although, might be okay when you're wearing a backpack or climbing harness. Happy with the jacket overall and certainly with Campsaver pricing and shipping.
