This Jacket is perfect for every sport, camping, rain storms, and even just walking around town. Purchased one for my wife and I'm thinking about getting another as a backup, what a great Jacket.

Awesome Purchase!

This shell is fabulous. I love the color and it fits perfectly. The fabric is a little stretchy too, so it is more comfortable than most rain jackets I've had. I haven't tested it in any downpours yet, but I have worn it as my shell during the past few week's spring ski conditions. It has kept out the slush admirably and I feel good about it's waterproof-ness. It's great!

Superior Product

I bought this jacket for my wife, and we both were thrilled with its overall quality -- Oregon Research really got it right with this jacket -- a highly advanced, technically superior garment that is as light as a feather and packs into its own pocket for travel:the best of both worlds -- my only caution is to pay attention to sizing as the jacket is a slim fit.

Short in torso

I gave this 4 stars because it seems like it would be a great raincoat - and other reviews I've read tend to indicate that. Beautiful color and fabric. However, at 5'7 and 110lbs with a long torso, the size small was terribly short in the body! Way above my belt on my low-rise jeans. I don't understand why so many jackets are cut so short - in a raincoat it seems important to cover more of you

Seems very well made

I bought this jacket for walking the dogs in the rainy Northeast this summer. I'm in Phoenix now so I haven't had a chance to try it in the rain, but it came very highly recommended by an outdoor person I trust. I use a waist belt with two dog leashes attached, so the zippered sides should come in handy. The belt can go underneath and the jacket can still protect me when the side zips are unzipped

Perfect

Other than a crunchy sound when wearing the hood this jacket is perfect. The sound is OK for short distances but on a long hike it could be a problem.

Seems great so far!

I tried on a number of rain jackets and this is the one that fit me best overall, hands down. The side vents that zip from the top and bottom are awesome. I haven't had a chance to test it out in the rain, so can only comment on the fit. I am tall and curvy in the hip region, so it's difficult to find a good fit.
