NOTE: This hat has an inner Velcro pull tension strap built in, so you can fine-tune it to fit your brain pan perfectly. I am a guy who wears around a 7 1/4 and I bought the large and with a ever so slight adjustment of the Velcro strap it became my favorite hat. It is so light you forget you're wearing it. Moreover, if you want to have fun with it, go ahead and stand in an absolute downpour -- your head stays perfectly dry, in fact 100% dry. The longer bill in the back keeps water off your neck, and in front it keeps it off your glasses!! The skull coverage has the Gore-tex liner in it, and the brim has this 100% waterproof foam-like substance in it for, again, 100% waterproof coverage!! DO YOU WANT TO STAY DRY, THEN THIS IS THE HAT TO BUY MY FRIEND. YOU'LL THANK ME LATER. MINE IS OVER 5 YEARS OLD NOW, AND STILL IT IS 100% WATERPROOF.
