I met the hat at church - Outdoor Research Seattle Rain Hats

I had an old hat similar to this one but about 15 years old. After a month in Africa It gave up so I was looking for a replacement. I searched high and low and finally decided on this one but in my heart I wondered If it would be as good as my old one. At after church reception I saw an old backpacking buddy with my new hat. I was pleased to know that he had had it for 5 years and was delighted with the hat. History tells me that this was a very good choice. It is going to Florida for a month of bicycle touring down the keys. Joy to all.
